Access Rapier Class.
If you are unable to succeed at the Venom Class and as such cannot access the extra speed of the Rapier Class of ships follow these instructions.
1. Highlight 1 player on the start up screen.
2. Hold down the following buttons at the same time L2, R2, START, SELECT.
3. Keep holding them down and then press the X button. This should then take you to the class screen.
Hidden Track.
This allows access to the Firestar track, and is normally available if you complete all the tracks in the Rapier class.
1. Highlight 1 player at the start up screen.
2. Hold down all the following buttons. L1, R1, START, SQUARE and O while still pressing these buttons press the X button to activate the cheat.
Repeat Lap.
In a race if you do a 180 degree turn whilst crossing the line , the game will that lapand let you do another one, this can be useful if you are just behind the leader as you can then catch and over take him.
Turbo Start.
You need the red rev bar on the 2nd line from the end when the announcer says go. The best way to do this is to press the accelerator when the orange light comes on, or in the middle of the announcer saying "one".
